Crested Butte Mountain Resort is partnering with Sustainable CB to support their mission to build a waste-free future in the Gunnison Valley. Sustainable CB helps divert hard-to-recycle materials from the landfill through their Recycle Train program. Recycle Train is a monthly drop-off to recycle many of the items Gunnison County Recycling Center and Waste Management do not accept.
Sustainable CB also provides Waste-Free Event Rentals and Consulting. Instead of single-use throwaway items, Sustainable CB offers 100% post-consumer reusable plasticware made by Preserve and secondhand goods donated or collected from thrift stores that are available for rent with washing service at affordable rates.

The local Mountain Express (Crested Butte buses) are rolling pieces of art. Hand-painted by local artists these buses showcase different aspects of the community through creative, fun and beautiful artistic renderings. Which bus is your favorite?
The free town shuttle runs between Mt. Crested Butte and downtown Crested Butte, just three miles away.

The Crested Butte Land Trust’s mission is to forever protect and steward open lands for vistas, recreation, wildlife and ranching, thus contributing to Gunnison County’s unique heritage and quality of life.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort donates land as well as funds to help the Crested Butte Land Trust preserve wide open ranch lands, breathtaking views, lush fields of wildflowers and epic single-track.
