CBMR requires a full 24-hour cancellation or change notice prior to the day of cancellation. All cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will result in a full day program charge per child. To avoid this, please call by 8:30 a.m. or earlier, the day prior to a session to cancel. Voicemails left outside of business hours will be accepted as cancellation notice.

What to Expect

  • Nursery check-in is between 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Whetstone building, which is directly downhill of the Silver Queen chairlift. Snowy Bears must check in by 9 a.m.
  • Half Day pick-up is between 12 and 12:15 p.m.
  • Full Day pick-up is between 3 and 3:30 p.m.
  • Families desiring hourly care must drop their children off during the 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. registration time period.
  • We allow one pick-up and one drop-off per day, unfortunately we cannot accommodate mid-day visits as these tend to upset the children.
  • We are happy to accommodate nursing mothers.
  • Feel free to contact Nursery Supervisor by email CBNurseryCamp@vailresorts.com with any questions you may have.

Food & Naps

Our classrooms are nut-free and all of our programs include lunch, snacks, and water. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring a nut-free lunch and snack for your child. For naptime, we provide blankets for the children as well as cribs, or mats depending on their age and preference.

Ratios

In order to provide the best care for your children, we separate the children based on age and development. The caregiver ratios in each of the classrooms are 1 to 3 for infants and 1 to 5 for toddlers.

Inconsolable Policy

We do everything we can to engage children at our center and comfort them when they are sad.  However, if we feel that we cannot get a child to engage in an activity, the child won’t sleep, eat or drink, and is thus inconsolable, we feel it’s necessary for them to have one on one care which we can’t provide at our center.

We will refund your daily rate and charge you hourly for the time your child is at our center.

I understand that if my child is inconsolably fussy, unhappy, and/or crying for an hour or more, I will need to come pick up my child immediately.

Nursery Groups

BABY BEARS (2 MONTHS TO 15 MONTHS)

Our baby bear program is staffed with qualified and caring individuals. We offer a three to one infant to attendant ratio.

CUDDLY BEARS (16 MONTHS TO 3 YEARS)

Our Cuddly Bear program is for non-skiing children. Each day includes organized activities, arts & crafts, games, music, lunch, snacks, snow play (weather permitting) and quiet/nap time.

SNOWY BEARS (2 YEARS TO 3 YEARS)

Snowy Bears are toddlers ages 2 to 3 years who want to add an on-snow experience in a one-hour private lesson. Ski equipment is included during lesson time only. Each parent needs to provide the proper clothing for the child to ski. Pre-registration required.
