Wednesdays with Wendy – Intermediate Clinic I March 13
For each lesson, Wendy Fisher, local Olympian, will help you improve your skiing skills and style, as well as work with you to overcome any inner fears you might have. For many, fear can be the biggest obstacle restricting the advancement of one’s skiing level.
Learning to read terrain while improving technique will leave you with a greater level of confidence and skills that will enhance your skiing experience at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and beyond.
Lesson Time: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Participants should not plan to get out to the famed Crested Butte Extremes on that particular day. This depends entirely on whether the whole group is comfortable and ready.
Watercolor & Wine I March 14
Join a step-by-step watercolor painting class over winter evenings at the Center! Suzanne guides the group through a watercolor painting from start to finish, giving instruction on setting up to paint, wash and watercolor painting techniques, composition, and more. Wine is provided to participants 21 and older, so relax and create! All watercolor supplies and your first glass of wine is included. Absolutely no watercolor experience is necessary! Instructor: Suzanne Pierson. At the Center for the Arts. Held one Thursday a month January – May.
