This Week In the Butte February 19 2018

This week is all about the need for speed and unique adventure. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is excited to host the Prater Cup Speed Camp and Prater Cup. Plus, reserve your spot at the always adventurous Wednesday’s with Wendy or the Gothic Mountain Tour.

Prater Cup Speed Camp I February 19 - 21
This camp is designed as a 3 day speed progression for CBMST and U14 athletes. It is intended to progress athletes by familiarizing them with speed elements such as jumping, gliding, speed adaption, acceleration, and risk management.

Women's Tips on Tuesdays I February 20
Come ski with like-minded women to get some ski tips, followed by tipping a glass of wine at our Umbrella Bar. This is a women’s specific session, which is guided by our top women pros. Sessions will go from 1:30 - 3:30 pm and will conclude with an après beverage, which is included in the session price for $70.

Wednesday's with Wendy I February 21
You don’t have to ski like an Olympian to ski with and learn from one. Wendy will lead two separate learning options based upon ability level: One for intermediate and the other for advanced skiers. This week is for the advanced skier and this lesson is ideal for the skier who have experienced or are ready to experience the famed Crested Butte Extremes.

Prater Cup I February 22 - 25
Crested Butte’s marquee annual youth ski race will bring 250 of Colorado’s top 12 and 13 year old alpine ski racers to Crested Butte. The Prater Cup is always a blast for competitors, their families and fans alike. Look for some high speed skiing and tons of fun as these athlete's look to qualify for the Junior Olympic team.
