Four Ways to Fuel Up On the Mountain This Summer!

Crested Butte Four Ways to Fuel Up On the Mountain This Summer!

When it gets down to it, dining on vacation can be just as important decision during your trip as where you want to go in the first place.  You want to have an experience and try new things, while getting to the core of what a place is really like.

Dining out on vacation can be a great way of experiencing the culture, the locals and what makes the atmosphere of a place great.  Crested Butte is no different.

The restaurants at Crested Butte Mountain Resort embody the best aspects of what make the mountain great—the panoramic views, the friendly and laid back vibe, and the adventurous spirit that enlivens our town.  Have a peek at what dining options you’ll have when you visit the resort!

Butte 66:

With the biggest deck on the mountain, Butte 66 certainly embodies what we love most about living here—the views!  This summer, we’ll have an outdoor grill and full bar to tame your thirst after a day exploring the mountain.  Lounge in the Adirondack chairs in the sunshine while our friendly staff serves you delicious libations, or sit down to a meal while the kids play on the bungee trampoline right on the deck!  Walk up grill will be serving starting at 11am, bar will open at 10:30am!

New! Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks:

You may have visited the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks this winter, but you’ve never seen it surrounded by wildflowers!  The new Umbrella Bar has a retractable roof, and offers incredible 360 degree views from the bar, and it’s located on mountain at the top of the Painter Boy Lift area!  It’s the perfect mid-mountain stop during your hike or bike ride, or as a destination in itself.  Serving sandwiches, wraps, snacks and a full bar from 10-4pm daily, unless closed for a private function.

Jefe’s:

Your quick stop for a pre-ride or hike fuel up, this is a great place to grab made to order Tex-Mex favorites while you’re on the go.  We know how important a day of riding is to you, which is why Jefe’s is a great option for the go-getters.  Have a few minutes to spare?  Grab a margarita while you’re at it and enjoy your meal on the patio!  Hours are 11am-4pm daily!

Woodstone Grille:

For a hearty breakfast, stop at the Woodstone Grille inside the Grand Lodge for a huge breakfast buffet, made to order omelets, big waffles and more!  They’re also a great on-mountain option for dinner with fire-baked pizza, unique apps, pastas, salads and grille specials.  Stop in for a game of pool and a beer from Colorado breweries!  Breakfast is served 7am-10am, and dinner will be served 5pm-10pm, but you can head into the bar for an apres-adventure drink starting at 4pm!

Explore the mountain, from the peak of Mt. Crested Butte, to the bottom of your plate at one of our awesome restaurants—you’ll be happy you did!  The mountain, and our restaurants, open for the summer 2016 season starting June 11, we look forward to having you!
