Crested Butte Couples Time

HERE ARE 5 DATE NIGHT IDEAS TO DO IN CRESTED BUTTE

Art Walk
Become inspired by the many local artists of Crested Butte during an evening Art Walk through the many galleries downtown. Ponder your creative side, nibble on some complementary appetizers and sip some wine. It’s a charming start to a night out together, on specific dates throughout the year. More information here: www.crestedbuttearts.org

Sleigh Ride Dinner
Over the snow, through the woods, to Uley’s Cabin you’ll go! Take a moonlight sleigh ride, pulled by a snow cat (a whole new kind of animal) up the slopes of Mt. Crested Butte. Uley’s Cabin, named after the historical bootlegger who once lived there, is a restaurant with a European chalet ambience. Cozy up to a bottle of wine and a 5-course gourmet dinner, before taking the sleigh back down the mountain. Make a reservation now! (Offered winter only) Uley's Sleigh Rider Dinner!

Lift Ride and Peak Hike
Take a romantic summer chairlift ride up the Silver Queen lift, over meadows of wildflowers and mountain streams. When you get to the top, continue the adventure by embarking on a 2-hour hike to the peak of Mt. Crested Butte. Pack a picnic to enjoy along the way. When you conquer the peak, enjoy the 360-degree birds eye views of the Elk Mountains, and sign your names in the logbook. It’s a perfect day adventure for two. More info about lift tickets here

Pottery Painting
Channel your creative sides and paint your own pottery at the Art Studio at Crested Butte’s Center for the Arts. Drop in to weekly open painting sessions, or schedule an appointment for a private party. Heat things up on Wednesday evenings when the kiln is fired to complete your work of art. More information about pottery painting here: www.crestedbuttearts.org

Full Moon Party
Partake in a self-guided snowshoe or uphill ski tour on Mt. Crested Butte, under the light of the full moon. Make your way up to the Ice Bar for a bonfire, a beer (or two), and a bowl of hot chili. Equipment is available for rent at the Rental and Demo Center in the Treasury Building, and tickets proceeds are donated to local non-profit organizations. Check the events calendar for exact dates!
