Press ReleasesCrested Butte Mountain Resort appoints new Mountain Schools Director July 25, 2008, Crested Butte, CO - Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is pleased to announce Nick Herrin as the new Mountain Schools Director, managing all aspects of the ski and snowboard schools. Nick spent nine years at Big Sky, Montana as a ski instructor and working through the ranks as a Training Supervisor and as Group Sales Manager in the summers. A member of the PSIA National Team and most recently coming from Telluride Ski Resort, where he was Executive Director of the Ski School, Nick has extensive experience in the ski resort industry. "I began teaching at age 14 and caught the 'ski industry bug' at Snoqualmie in Washington." Since then, Nick dedicated himself to the profession. "We are excited about Nick coming to CBMR bringing a new perspective from his background," says Ethan Mueller, Director of Operations at CBMR. "Nick is joining us at a dynamic time for the organization and brings a great perspective to this integral part of our mountain team." "I'm really looking forward to joining the company and becoming part of the community. I can't think of a better place to be in all four seasons." says Herrin.
