FESTEVOL BRINGS O.A.R. TO CRESTED BUTTE FOR MARCH CELEBRATION OF MUSIC, SPORTS AND MOUNTAIN LIFESTYLE
New mountain lifestyle event debuts in Crested Butte March 26, 2011

MT. CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. – February 22 – Sunshine, superb snow conditions and a new lifestyle event make springtime an ideal time to visit Crested Butte. Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) introduces FestEVOL (pronounced: Fest-ee-vuhl) March 26, 2011, an inaugural endeavor from EVOL Burritos in partnership with CBMR, Nordica, Reverb and the Bud Light Concert Series. FestEVOL includes a concert featuring O.A.R. and the Pete Kilpatrick Band with special guest DJ Logic, as well as the IZSTYLE Reverb Eco Village and the perfect showplace for mountain sports and lifestyle brands. Event packages, including lodging, lift tickets and concert access, are available starting at $149 per person, per night. Concert tickets are $35 if purchased by March 19, 2011 and $40 if purchased after that date.
 
“We couldn’t think of a better way to illustrate the joys of spring skiing than with an event featuring great music, innovative natural brands, a sustainably-focused “eco village” and on-mountain adventure,” said Daren Cole, vice president of sales and marketing for CBMR.
 
FestEVOL was created as a collaboration between like-minded brands hoping to further the efforts of activities and causes most important to them.
 
“FestEVOL is a rare opportunity to experience a top tier band like O.A.R. in an extremely intimate and picturesque setting” said Jon Jennings, EVOL Burritos director of communications and FestEVOL spokesman.
 
FestEVOL is a three-part event series, including stops at three mountain resorts operated by Triple Peaks, LLC: CBMR in Colorado, Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont (March 19, 2011) and Mount Sunapee Resort in New Hampshire (April 2, 2011). Triple Peaks, LLC, a resort company owned by the Mueller family, is based in Ludlow, Vt.
 
Each FestEVOL event is part of the IZSTYLE Winter Tour featuring the Reverb Eco Village, an interactive area including regional and national environmental groups alongside alternative energy and transportation exhibits. The Eco Village also highlights all natural and organic food sampling, and ski and snowboard equipment demos from Nordica and Burton Snowboards.
 
CBMR’s FestEVOL package includes lodging in a courtyard view hotel room at the Elevation Hotel & Spa, located at the base of the resort, as well as a lift ticket valid at CBMR and a concert ticket for O.A.R. and the Pete Kilpatrick Band and DJ Logic on March 26. The package price is $149 per person, based upon two people per hotel room. Concert tickets are $35 each if purchased by March 19, 2011 and $40 if purchased after that date.
