Crested Butte Mountain Resort holds pass prices, enhances family affordability and creates incentives to upgrade.

June 17, 2008 - Crested Butte, Colorado - Last year's snowfall of 418 inches, a season surpassing the long-standing 1979-1980 record, has left Crested Butte Mountain Resort feeling optimistic about next winter. In celebration of last winter's phenomenal season of snow, CBMR is holding last year's early season prices for its Platinum, Gold and Bronze pass holders until August 1. It is reducing prices on child and young adult passes, and formulating better family purchase plans to increase family affordability. And as a special thank you, it is creating an upgrade program that translates into free ski days. The exciting result is an incredible variety of pass products offering the best possible value for every conceivable individual use.

Lock in last year's prices
Buy your Platinum, Gold or Bronze pass from June 18th to August 1st and profit from last year's prices. All Platinum Pass holders enjoy no holds barred, unlimited skiing and riding with no blackout dates, plus a full summer of lift rides for mountain biking and hiking. If you want no boundaries on your unbridled fun, winter or summer, then this is the pass for you. Next up, all Gold Pass holders can fully exercise their inner powder hound by capitalizing on skiing and riding the full 2008-2009 winter season with no blackout dates. Both Platinum and Gold Pass holders can also take advantage of three free days at Durango Mountain Resort, Powderhorn, Taos Ski Valley, Okemo and Mt. Sunapee. Bronze Pass holders can choose a more affordable package in accepting blackout dates during busy seasons such as the winter holidays and spring break.

Greater family affordability
CBMR has lowered children's pass prices and created a better Family Pass Program. The new Family Pass Program includes one free Young Adult or Child pass for every Adult Platinum or Gold Pass purchased in the same family. Additionally, Child and Young Adult Season Passes have been lowered from last year. A Child's Gold Season Pass, valid for ages 7-12, are only $99 and Young Adult Gold Passes, valid for ages 13-17, are now only $150 during the early purchase dates. And, as always, children 6 and under ski free.

Mountain Card Flexibility
The variety of Mountain Cards offers flexibility for those who target Crested Butte as a regular hot spot for downhill exhilaration and small town relaxation. Mountain Cards are the best value options if your ski time is limited but you want to pack in as full a season as possible.

CB Card holders receive savings and discounts all season long in 25% off on all single day adult lift tickets, 15% savings on ski and snowboard rentals & demos and 15% discount on any lodging booked through Crested Butte Vacations. As an added bonus, The CB Card also includes your first day of skiing or riding absolutely, completely free.

The popular X-Card now includes six unrestricted days of powder nirvana, instead of the previous five. Bottom line - you choose your best days for skiing and riding, any time during the season. Renew your 2007-08 X-Card online before August 1, and receive a special price of just $199.00.

With the EZ Pass you get one day of skiing a week, whether Tuesday or Sunday is best for you, the choice is yours so you can really target the best conditions.

10 Day or 15-Day passes allow you to choose when to spend those 10 or 15 days of snow-choked glory. These passes are valid all season long with no blackouts.

Upgrade today and get a free day
Upgrade to any higher value product and get a free day of skiing added to your pass. Simply choose any pass product of higher value than you had last season and we will add an additional day to your card or pass at no charge. X Cards become 7 days, 10 day pass become 11 days and 15 days become 16. For Platinum, Gold and Bronze Pass holders this means an added free day of skiing that may be transferred to a friend or family member so they too can enjoy the bottomless powder that seems to have found Crested Butte.
