Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) has officially announced its pass pricing for the 2013-2014 winter season. After considerable analysis, the resort has decided to completely restructure their previous pass pricing model. The resort is now offering the Peak Pass with prices for adult passes starting at $599.

A major winter storm moved into the area on Friday and proceeded to pummel the legendary slopes of Crested Butte throughout the weekend. Skiers and riders have been treated to four straight powder days and in total a whopping 39 inches of snow has fallen during this storm cycle. This epic weekend storm has all of Crested Butte grinning from ear to ear, and has also managed to bring Crested Butte’s season snowfall accumulation to 202 inches – over 16 feet.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) and Crested Butte Mountain Guides announce the creation of the new “Adventure Guide Program” that combines backcountry ski skills and education with guided in-bounds and out-of-bounds skiing. The new ski school offering addresses the need for skier skills and education for guests wanting a different ski experience in Crested Butte. As backcountry skiing continues to grow, CBMR wants guests to have the best instruction and most of all, a unique Colorado ski experience.

CBMR Appoints Ken Stone as New Chief Operating Officer - August 29, 2008
Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR), announced today its selection of Ken Stone as the new Chief Operating Officer of the company. Stone has been serving as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for CBMR and will step up to head the company beginning September 2.

Crested Butte 2008-2009 Winter Season Pass Sale - June 17, 2008
Last year's snowfall of 418 inches, a season surpassing the long-standing 1979-1980 record, has left Crested Butte Mountain Resort feeling optimistic about next winter.
