Let it Snow!
Here in Crested Butte, Mother Nature is reminding us by the day that winter is right around the corner. Early-season snowstorms have found their way into the Valley; eight inches stacked up overnight on the CBMR powcam just last week. With the days getting colder, we look forward to welcoming everyone back into the Valley for another wonderful season! CBMR is bringing back Ski Free for its 50th Birthday Celebration this year on Opening Day, November 23, 2011! This is an event you don’t want to miss, with KBUT broadcasting live from the Butte 66 deck and the Drew Emmitt Band jamming out all afternoon.

Meet Our New Brokers
Meg Brethauer
Meg began her pursuit for the Colorado lifestyle in 1989 when relocating from Indianapolis, Indiana. As a consummate sales professional, she has spent time working with marketing at Copper Mountain and as a Director for a Fine Art Gallery in Boulder. After one visit to the Gunnison Valley in 1999, she shortly moved to Crested Butte and pursued a career in property management and real estate sales. Meg and her family reside in downtown Crested Butte, as local business owners, and are fortunate to raise their 4 year old son in this unique mountain community. They take full advantage of all Crested Butte has to offer and in their spare time enjoy back-country/downhill skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking. Meg’s extended knowledge in sales and her history in property management, allows her to accurately facilitate your housing goals. She offers an integrated full-service personal approach and can assist and guide you through the process of buying or selling your home.

When not selling real estate, Doug loves to mountain bike, hike, fish, ski, snowmobile and play ice hockey. It's his love of the Crested Butte area and his participation in many community activities that make Doug a special real estate expert in Crested Butte. His attention to detail, knowledge of the market, and hard work will be especially valuable to you when it is time to buy or sell a property. Doug has been recognized as a top, award-winning producer in the Crested Butte brokerage community during his 11 years of selling real estate.
Office: 970-349-4993 Cell: 970-275-2355 dduryea@cbmr.com Cindy Ervin
Cindy’s grandparents were early settlers of Crested Butte and she grew up in town. Looking to fulfill her passion working with Indy Cars, she left in the mid 80’s but recently returned to take care of her family. She continues to carry on family tradition living in her grandparents’ house that was brought into town from the Floresta mine over 100 years ago. Her extensive knowledge and passion for the Crested Butte area, including her love of helping others become a part of this beautiful community sets her apart from the rest. When not in the office, you will find her fulfilling her “need for speed” snowmobiling in the backcountry, hiking with friends and her four dogs, or riding motorcycles with her husband Turbo.

CBMR Update: Note from Ethan Mueller Aspen leaves on the ground and the roar of snow guns signal a switch from our summer landscape to the beautiful white winter wonderland that brought so many of us here. Summers in CB are always memorable, and this one was no exception. With the addition of more bike trails and the zipline, all of us at CBMR were happy to see you enjoy our great mountain in new and exciting ways. This winter should be no exception. The zipline will continue to operate through the winter season, and we are also excited to introduce “Ten Peaks” (formerly Camp 4) at the top of Painter Boy and Gold Link lifts, serving soups, sandwiches, beverages and snacks. We hope you will enjoy these additions to the resort and the many other services and experiences that make Crested Butte so special.
