First Day Beginner Adventure Ski & Snowboard Lessons

The best way to start if you've never been skiing or snowboarding is with the award winning staff of the Crested Butte Ski & Ride School. Our highly recommended Beginner's Adventure Lesson will make you a confident skier or snowboarder. 

Our Full Day Lesson will teach you to feel comfortable skiing green runs by the end of the day.  Make it a 2-day or 3-day lesson package for the best value.  Beginner Adventure lift tickets are restricted to the Peachtree lift only.

Group Lessons 

Lessons for ability levels 2 through 8 are specially designed to take you to the next level.  Group lessons average between 4 to 8 people and are tailored to the needs of all skiers and riders.  Lift ticket not included.

Half day lessons are 2.5 hours and are offered daily at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Full day lessons are 6 hours (with one hour off for lunch) and are offered daily at 10 a.m.

This is a perfect opportunity for strong intermediate skiers to be inspired and challenged by Crested Butte's legendary terrain.
