Roost the ButteSaturday & Sunday, April 6 & 7 · Parking for competitors will be on the south side of Prospect Drive along the flat groomed area. You can expect cars, trucks and trailers to begin filing in this afternoon and stay through Sunday evening or Monday morning.
In addition, parking is available at the CBMR Maintenance Garage as well as at the Snodgrass Trailhead and along Gothic Road.
· Mountain Express will add a second bus to their regular Snodgrass Trailhead service from 10-11am and 4:30-5:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The buses will depart from the Transit Center at Mountaineer
Square as normally scheduled and the first bus will depart for the Snodgrass Trailhead when nearly full.
· For those who don’t have ski passes and would like to watch the event and not ski, the resort will be handing out free tickets for foot traffic spectators only at the base of the Gold Link Lift. This will allow spectators to take the Gold Link lift up and walk down. Downloading will not be allowed for anyone and those with skis, must have a valid ski lift ticket or pass.
· Each day practice will begin at 10am and the races will start around 11:30 am. We expect the event to go until about 4 or 5pm on both Saturday, and Sunday. The Annual Slush Huck pond skim event is scheduled to start at 4pm on Saturday in the base area to keep from overlapping both events.
