Fall Festival of Beers and ChiliFall Fest Info The Annual Mt. Crested Butte Fall Festival of Beers & Chili Cook-off on Saturday, September 11th features over a dozen breweries from all over pouring their finest to cool things down while the locals heat it up with their favorite chili recipes. Live music will be on tap all day, including tunes from the legendary blues artist OTIS TAYLOR.
Admission is only $25 for unlimited beer tasting, chili, music, and a souvenir festival glass Think you have the best chili recipe in the Valley? Then get cookin' and bring your finest to the festival. Prizes will be awarded to the winners for the Best International Chili Society Red, Professional, Anything Goes, Green, Table Decoration, and Vegetarian categories. The overall prize is $150, and there will also be a drawing amongst the cook-off participants for a ski pass. Entry into the cook-off is FREE, and cook-off participants also receive FREE entry into The Annual Mt Crested Butte Fall Festival of Beers & Chili Cook-off! Here's how it works - cook up 3 gallons of your best stuff in advance and bring it to the venue on Saturday morning. We will provide the table, tent, and serving cups. All entries must be received by Thursday, September 9th to be included on the ballots and be eligible for prizes. Please note that contestants won't have access to electricity, so gas burning or Coleman type stoves will be necessary. Gravity Slave Chainless Downhill Race
