Stuff to KnowEmployment Eligibility Verification
Other types of IDs are also acceptable. We are required by federal and state law to view the original documents. Copies or faxes are not acceptable. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START WORK WITHOUT THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS. Grooming & Dress Guidelines All employees are expected to be groomed and dressed in and neat and clean manner appropriate to their job. The following are some general guidelines; certain departments may have additional policies, or more restrictive policies than stated below. Make sure you check with your supervisor to see if your department has any additional policies.
The best fit... CBMR has many functions - we operate the ski mountain with lifts, ski patrol, ski school, snowmaking, grooming and other on-mountain departments. We run restaurants - both on-mountain and in our hotels and lodging properties, fine dining, casual dining, cafeteria style and specialty banquets. Additionally, we operate three full-service hotels and a property management business. Then we have all of the behind-the-scenes functions of administration, accounting, vehicle maintenance, lift maintenance, property maintenance and housekeeping, to name a few. With all these different departments, jobs available differ widely. When applying for jobs, consider some of the following so that we end up with the best fit for both you and CBMR:
Be on Time: Never arrive late to an interview. Allow extra time to arrive early in the vicinity, allowing for traffic conditions, weather conditions or getting lost. Do Your Research: Research the company and the job you are interviewing for thoroughly.
Show Enthusiasm: CBMR seeks to hire people who are excited to come to work everyday. Even though you may feel nervous, remain calm and show confidence through a firm handshake, consistent eye contact, and by speaking distinctly. Listen: One of the most neglected interviewing skills is listening. Make sure that you are not only listening, but also preparing to respond to what you have heard. Answer the Question Asked: Candidates often don't think about whether or not they are actually answering the questions asked by their interviewers. Make sure you understand what is being asked, and feel comfortable asking for further clarification if you are unsure. Give Specific Examples: One specific example of your background is worth 50 vague stories. Prepare specific examples of your work history before the interview. Give examples that highlight your successes and uniqueness. Past behavior is the best indication of future performance. Ask Questions: Many interviewees don't ask questions and miss the opportunity to uncover valuable information. Your questions indicate your interest in the company or job. Follow Up: Be sure to find out who contact with questions.
