April Market Update
The number of Crested Butte real estate sales continues to increase to levels we have not seen in years. One area with a noticeable increase in activity has been in vacant land sales in the ski, hike and bike in-and-out Prospect community. Normally we tend to see vacant land sales down during the winter and rising in the spring and summer months. Not so in Prospect so far this year. Since the first of the year, six Prospect lots have sold and three more are under contract. In addition, the announcement of a 74% reduction in taxes in the premier E lots down to under $6,000 yearly will probably focus more attention on those lots.
