Welcome,

The snow is falling and we’re looking forward to an exciting season at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. For skiers and riders snow is the answer, regardless of the question. It drives us to jump out of bed early on a powder day; initiate impromptu snowball fights; whoop and holler as we plunge into deep drifts and tackle steep lines. And it’s snowing in Crested Butte.

With the snow comes discovery,  and rest assured, there’s plenty to discover at the resort this season: whether lacing up a pair of ice skates to test the new, eco-friendly synthetic rink; learning to ski alongside your kids in our newly combined adult and children’s beginner area; sliding into the brand new Ice Bar for an après cocktail or a multi-course feast followed by a moonlit ski down the mountain; discovering your inner groomer behind the controls of a Prinoth snowcat; tackling the resort’s famed Extreme Limits terrain with encouragement from one of our North Face Guides; or simply sitting back sipping a latte, or a cocktail, watching the snow fall and the people play from one of our beach-front decks.

There’s plenty to see, do and document in Crested Butte this season. And, of course, there’s the snow. Let’s hope there’s lots of it.
