Gravity MTB Race Program

The Crested Butte Mountain Sports Gravity Mountain Bike team’s focus will be competing in race events within the 2009 Mountain States Cup Series and U.S. Nationals. This program includes pit support, coaching, and mechanical guidance at all of the MSC races and U.S. Nationals.  Team riders will also receive a Troy Lee Designs uniform and discounted pricing on designated bikes, parts, equipment and riding camps.

The logistics of the season will be managed by 2008 MSC Expert 30-39 class gravity champion Christian Robertson and the team will be led by Head Coach and 2007 MSC Pro Class gravity champion Kain Leonard.   Kain has many race wins under his belt as well as international experience competing against the best in the world.  Kain will lead the team through each race weekend with mechanical guidance and coaching in the areas of bike setup, line selection, race strategy, and race run execution.

Registration 

Cost of the 2009 summer gravity MTB program is $850 per rider.  Team riders will receive a Troy Lee Designs uniform and discounted pricing on designated bikes, parts, equipment and riding camps.Travel and lodging arrangements can be made by the team manager at an additional cost to the individual riders.
