Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) fits perfectly into the town of Crested Butte - we're family owned and operated and focus in staying true to our small town roots.  There aren't too many other great ski and hospitality resorts where you can run into the owners pitching in to check tickets, bus tables and fold laundry during the busy times.

What we're looking for in an employee
We're looking for guest-focused employees who share our passions, who want to work as a team, both in the resort and the community.  Living and working in the Rockies, particularly in the Gunnison Valley, is a lifestyle.  We're passionate about our mountain lifestyle, both recreation and work.  If you're looking for a job where your co-workers are happy to come to work and are even happier if they have 4 feet of snow to shovel, this may be the place for you.

Getting Here
The Gunnison Valley is one of the most beautiful, unspoiled rural areas in Colorado.  However, this also means it's a bit out of the way.  We think the trade-off is worth it, but make sure you are prepared to get here.

Located near the center of the state, Crested Butte is easy to get to no matter where you're coming from. And the drive through the mountains is nothing short of extraordinary. Drive time from Denver is 4 hours, and a just under 4 hours from Colorado Springs.

Housing Options
Great options are available from Mt. Crested Butte to Gunnison and places in between.  Many housing options are available in Mt. Crested Butte, in the town of Crested Butte, CB South ( 8 miles south of Crested Butte), Almont (18 miles south of Crested Butte) and Gunnison (30 miles south of Crested Butte).

Crested Butte Mountain Resort facilitates housing for employees through private owners and managers.  A room or studio will cost you anywhere from $300 - $800, depending on quality and location.  If you have a group, apartments and houses generally run $1200 - $1800 for a 3 bedroom.  Check out the following business and publications to find great area housing.
