What happens when rock n’ roll and ice carving collide? Check it out on December 19 & 20 when “Rock on Ice” returns to the Mt Crested Butte Town Center, located at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Rock on Ice team is comprised of World Champion ice carvers who will thrill audiences by creating ice sculptures in only minutes with rock n’ roll music as the back drop.
This 2 day event will feature ice carving demonstrations during the days, and will culminate with a fast-paced hi-energy ice carving stage show set to rock n’ roll music on Saturday night. Kids will be able to have their names carved into their very own block of ice prior to the evening show. Throughout the event, and during the weeks that follow, view an amazing ice sculpture gallery in the outdoor courtyard at Mountaineer Square and see other icy works of art placed around the ski area.
