Grab a few friends or come alone and rediscover the virtues and variety of Crested Butte Mountain. During Wednesdays with Wendy the focus will be on exploring your favorite runs and lines as we tackle some of Crested Butte Mountain Resort's most challenging terrain. Participants can expect to learn how to ski with more fluidity, and how to work the terrain differently to enhance the on-mountain experience. We’ll focus on improving each participant’s technique and confidence and we’ll determine our destination based upon the comfort level of the group. Long time CB local and World Cup Freeskiing Champion Alison Gannett is proud to bring her infamous steep skiing camps for women to Crested Butte again this season. Open to skiers who can "make it down" a black run or wish to learn to jump off clifs. CBMR Over 100 free-heelers take to the slopes to compete in this Telemark Freeskiing event complete with welcome reception and awards party. The two-day big mountain event attracts the biggest names in the Telemark industry and is unique to Crested Butte. Free Telemark demos and specialty clinics also take place during this Telemark celebration culminating with the legendary Al Johnson race. 14th Annual Extreme Telemark Freeskiing Championships	19 Adaptive High Adventure Weekend: Ladies Getaway 12:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. All of the details are taken care of in this memorable women’s only getaway weekend, featuring plenty of time on the snow exploring beginner to advanced terrain, wellness programming, social activities, healthy homemade group lunches, and more. Evenings out on the town and therapeutic massages are optional. A popular local telemark race named after a diehard 19th century Crested Butte mailman who delivered mail to remote mining camps. Hundreds of costumed participants ascend 600 vertical feet to the crest of the North Face, and then race down the double black diamond terrain to the finish. An extreme endurance race that links Crested Butte to Aspen. At the stroke of midnight, skiers start out over a 40-mile course that takes them from the base of Mt. Crested Butte through remote wilderness terrain, across two mountain passes and finishes at Aspen Mountain. Skiers must start, compete and finish in teams of two. Elk Mountains Grand Traverse Yonder Mountain Skitown Breakdown 03:00 P.M. to 06:30 P.M. Crested Butte Mountain Resort Mark your calendars for March 27th and get out your dancing shoes. The entire Gunnison Valley is celebrating Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s announcement of a major spring bluegrass event - the first annual Ski Town Breakdown. The event will take place on March 27th on Warming House Hill at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort and will feature Colorado favorite Yonder Mountain String Band. The Pete Kilpatrick Band will open the show at 3:15 and Yonder will take the stage at 4:30. Yonder Mountain Skitown Breakdown
