This is a great week and the events highlight what a unique place Crested Butte is! Join us for the gO SkiMo race series, Borealis Fat Bike World Championships, and a Heritage Museum retro movie showing – have a great time, get outside, and dress up!
Women’s Tips on Tuesdays I January 24
Come ski with like-minded women every Tuesday to get some ski tips, followed by tipping a glass of wine at our Umbrella Bar. This is a women’s specific session and is guided by our top women pros. Sessions will go from 1:30 - 3:30 pm and will conclude with an après glass of wine, or non-alcoholic beverage, which is included in the session price for $70.
gO SkiMo Race I January 24
Presented by Griggs Orthopedics, the gO Ski Mountaineering races are FREE and feature a new course each week with FREE food, raffle prizes and FREE beer after each race. Registration will be in the middle of the Treasury Center from 4 - 5 pm. Races starts at 5:15 PM in the base area. Don’t forget your headlamp!

Borealis Fat Bike World Championships I January 25 - 28
The third annual Borealis Fat Bike World Championships will be held on January 25 - 28, 2018. Featuring a fat bike vendor showcase, demos, fat bike races and lift served fat biking, it is a weekend that any bike enthusiast would not want to miss!
Live Music @ Butte 66 I January 26 & 27
Join us for après from 4 – 6 pm at Butte 66 at the base of the Red Lady Express for music, drinks and food! This week features local talent Casey Falter and is where you'll want to be on Friday and Saturday afternoons!
Go Deeper Beer Tasting I January 26
From 6 - 9 pm at the Mallardi Theater at the Old Town Hall bus stop in Crested Butte. In its 5th year of outrageous fun with copious amounts of delicious beer on tap. Satisfy your taste buds and support the Crested Butte Avalanche Center! $25 Entry, $20 for CBAC Members.
Movie Night at the Museum I January 26
Join the The Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum for Movie Night at the Museum featuring Snowbeast from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Snowbeast was filmed in Crested Butte and the surrounding areas. It follows a young skier and his wife while visiting a ski resort during a man-beast attack, resulting in a hilariously great 70's thriller.
Retro gear is strongly encouraged! This is a free event, donations in support of The Museum are greatly appreciated! There will be a cash bar and popcorn.
The Drunken Hearts I January 27
The Center for the Arts presents The Drunken Hearts on Saturday, January 27 at 8 pm. Tickets are available for $25.
The Drunken Hearts meld both electrified and acoustic in an alt-Americana five-piece flaunting a greasy country rock flecked with a touch of bluegrass barn dance. A perfect Saturday night!
