3. Hike the Peak

The hike to the peak of Mt. Crested Butte is about two miles round trip and 732 feet in elevation gain. This may seem like an easy hike, but keep in mind you will be summiting a mountain at 12,162 feet! Ride to the top of the Silver Queen lift to explore the wonders of a fragile high-alpine environment and venture to the summit of the famed Mt. Crested Butte. This hike passes through areas of unique animals, alpine plants, scree and talus fields. Hire a guide who will share the wonders of this special environment, and other areas around Crested Butte. Hikes are offered daily at 10 am for $49 per person.

4. Adventure Park

Families will love the resort’s Adventure Park. Spend an hour or an entire day; the Adventure Park is sure to garner giggles, shouts and squeals of pure joy. Families can enjoy mini golf, rock climbing, bungee trampolines, the Coke Zero Gravity BagJump and the newest feature, the Tin Cup Mining Co., where kids can prospect for gems just like the miners of yesteryears did.
