Behind the Scenes at the Butte

Ever wonder what it takes to get the mountain ready for your visit?

In order to ensure our guests receive the best (and safest) experience riding the lifts, our Lift Operations and Maintenance Departments perform a highly synchronized start up procedure every day of the week.

Each morning as the fog slowly lifts from the valley before the sun peeks out from behind the Butte, our Mountain Ops team is already hard at work getting the lifts up and running.
