Archery at Crested Butte Mountain Resort
The Archery course at CBMR features over twenty 3D targets including elk, mule deer, bear, antelope and more. The course is set on a one mile loop surrounded beautiful landscape of the Elk Mountains. The course begins with a site in range that offers bag targets from 10 – 50 yards to dial in your bow before hiking the loop with the 3D targets.
The course may be accessed using the Red Lady Express Chairlift and is an included amenity with all of our summer pass or ticket products. Archers are also welcome to access the course by hiking. There is a fee of $5 for each to be deposited at the pay tube at the site in range. All archers must also fill out a waiver for the summer. Forms are available at the bottom of the Red Lady and at the site in range.
High Mountain 3D Archery Competition
Crested Butte Mountain Resort and West Elk Archers will host the 5th annual 3D competition giving archers the chance to access the beautiful Gunnison National Forest via the Red Lady Express Chairlift. Participants will take the lift up to the start of the course at 10,300’ with amazing views of the Elk Mountain Range to the North. A Sight-in Range will be set near the top of the lift for archers to warm up before starting the course. From there, archers will follow the course through open country and dark timber along 30 targets for a one-day competition.

Thirty 3D targets with a sight in range will be set near the top of the Red Lady Lift in the Paradise drainage.
Price: $30 adults, $15 kids, Free for Ages 7 and under (includes one lift ride)
Registration: No Online registration available, just in person the day of!
Registration Time: 8:30 AM- 10:30 AM- Registration opens at Coal Breaker Coffee in the Treasury Building
Note: $10 spectator lift ticket for friends and family with your group that are not shooting (single ride ticket)

West Elk Archery Clinics
June 12, July 10 & 24, August 7
Bring your bow and learn from professional archer and West Elk Archers club representative, Ryan Johnson. Clinics are open to all ages and ability levels. For youth entry level participants, several children’s practice bows will be available at the sight in range to share; however, most participants should plan to bring their own bow and arrows. All sessions will meet in the base area at Evolution Bike Shop for check in. Clinic formats will vary from week to week, so catch them all for a well-rounded training opportunity.
The $10 Clinic fee includes one lift ride and clinic will be offered on June 12, July 10, July 24 and August 7. Meet at the Evolution Bike Park at 4:30 pm.
